Report: Sunderland open talks to sign Troy Parrott from Tottenham

✨Tottenham Hotspur have received a loan offer from Sunderland for Troy Parrott, that the Black Cats want to sign a second Spurs player in this window.

꧒Alex Neil’s men have already signed Jack Clarke permanently as they prepare for their Championship return. Clarke spent the second-half of last season on loan with the club as they secured promotion.

♎And it seems that they wanted Parrott to follow him to the Stadium of Light. that Sunderland have made a bid to sign the forward on loan.

🅠They remain in talks with Tottenham over a deal with Parrott named in Antonio Conte’s pre-season squad currently out in South Korea. But it is claimed that he is unlikely to have a long-term future in North London.

Sunderland a good move for Parrott should he leave Tottenham

🌌Parrott has probably got a lot of work to do to force his way into Conte’s plans ahead of the new campaign. There was a time when he seemed to have a very bright future ahead at the highest level.

However, underwhelming loan spells at Millwall and Ipswich Town saw Parrott’s stock fall. The emergence of Dane Scarlett also did the Republic of Ireland international no favours.

🌠But Parrott had a much better spell at MK Dons, scoring 10 times in all competitions. His form towards the end of the campaign was particularly impressive. And he was labelled ‘‘ while there.

🔥He is now getting the chance to work with Conte for the first time. So it is too soon to write him off entirely.

🐼Having said that, a spell at Sunderland could be ideal for the youngster. It is a massive club. And they will have their sights set on contending for another promotion.

💫If he can impress there, a lot could change when it comes to his Tottenham future.
