According to , Sevilla were delighted when Tottenham signed Bryan Gil in a deal over the summer.

Aside from the finances involved, this deal also seems to have benefitted both sides from a footballing aspect.

Lamela has impressed in Spain so far, scoring goals and providing assist in La Liga appearances this season.

In Gil’s case, he shone against Wolves on Wednesday, and looks perfectly capable of becoming a superstar in north London.
