Nottingham Forest are amongst a group of Championship sides interested in signing Wigan Athletic forward Josh Windass, .

Sabri Lamouchi’s men are right in the promotion🗹 mix this season. They sit four points off the top two, and they are one ꦿof the most in-form teams in the division right now.

Unsurprisingly however, Forest appear to have their eye on further re🍌inforcements. Lamouchi has already brought Adama Diakhaby in from Huddersfield, and it appears that he is hoping to sign another attacking player from one of their Championship rivals.

TBR View – £500,000 move for Windass could be inspired

Windass has done fairly well since joining Wigan from Rangers. He has scored nine league goals since the ♋start of last season.

It is may🐷be not a m𒀰ove that will immediately capture the imagination, but he arguably has the ability to make a £500,000 deal look inspired.

The former Accrin💝gton Stanley man is capable of playing almost anywhere in attack. So he can provide some much-needed support for Lewis Grabban at the City Ground.

With Diakhaby already on board, Forest appear to be doing some shrewd business this month. Bringing Windass in could cerꩲtainly prove to be a fanta🔯stic decision.
