Newcastle are set to submit another bid for Watford forward Joao Pedro, and they’re confident a deal can be agreed.
Pedro is reportedly keen to join up with fellow Brazilians Joelinton and Bruno Guimaraes at Newcastle, .
has been on the radar of Leeds United this summer as well, but Watford are making negotiations with potential buyers tricky as they look to hold on the 20-year-old.
, Pedro has started every one of Watford’s four Championship matches this season, scoring once.
The Hornets want to return to the Premier League at the first time of asking, and having Pedro in their side will certainly help that cause.
Newcastle confident Joao Pedro deal can be agreed
Newcastle have been offered the chance to sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Mauro Icardi, as well as Stuttgart giant Sasa Kalajdzic.
However, the potential and excitement of Joao Pedro must really appeal to Newcastle, who already has some Premier League experience, and would have a Brazilian contingent at the club to help him settle in.

He was also deployed on the left-wing at times, and scored three times last season including at St. James’ Park in January.
Howe will be relieved once Newcastle can finally get a deal over the line, and although the club are confident, it will be interesting to see how much they have to compromise on their second proposal.
