Report: Newcastle think they can get ‘very fast’ player signed in time to play against Leeds

According to , Newcastle United are hopeful of completing the s🧜igning of Sevilla defend✅er Diego Carlos this week.
The Magpies have been on the lookout for a new centre-half since the first da𝓀y of this month’s transfer window.
Eddie Howe has looked at the liꦍkes of Sv✱en Botman of Lille and Benoit Badiashile of Monaco, while Liverpool’s Nat Phillips and Arsenal’s Rob Holding have also been linked with a move to Tyneside.
However, as we enter the final ♌two weeks of the transfer window, it is looking more and more like𓄧ly that Carlos will be the man Howe will sign this month.
Newcastle hoping to sign Diego Carlos before Leeds game on Saturday
The report claims that the Magpies༺ have had a 🌟series of bids rejected by Sevilla for their star Brazilian defender.
However, Newcastle are confident tha🀅t their latest offer of £30 million will be enough to convince the Spanish side. Howe is also hoping that a deal for Carlos will be completed before his side head to Elland Road 🃏to face Leeds this weekend.
Carlos, 28, has all the characteristics to be a top defe🦂nder. He definitely has a mistake in him, but he is , according to Fabiano Soares, his coach at Estoril back in🏅 the day.

TBR View:
Carlos is a good defender but playing alongside Jules Kounde has definitely made him look better than he actually is. That is a concern for Newcastle, but he is sur🐽ely an upgrade to what the Toon currently have.
£30 million is a decent fee for an experienced defender who has won an Olympic gold medal. He is also in the prime years of his caജreer and if Howe can get the best out of him, he could turn out to be an incredible signing for the Magpies.
It will be interesting to see if Newcastle can get Diego Carlos re♑gistered before they travel to Leeds on Saturday. If they can, it w𓆉ill give them a huge boost ahead of what will be a very difficult game against Marcelo Bielsa’s men.
