According to the print edition of The Sun on Sunday (June 30th, page 59), Millwall are lining up a move 👍for Sunderland star Jon McLaughlin.
Neil Harris wants another goalkeeper at Millwall and McLaughlin has been identified as an ideal target. But the Black Cats are desper😼ate to keep McLaughlin and have slapped a £5m price tag on his head to deter Millwall and other potential suitors.
M🐷illwall are hoping that the lure of Championship football can tempt ꦏhim down south. But Sunderland do not want to sell the 31-year-old after a fine first season at The Stadium of Light.
Millwall’s goalkeeper hunt continues
Millwall have had a major overhaul in the goalkeeper depa✱rtment this summer. Three first-team goalkeepers departed; Jordan Archer and Tom King were released while David Martin moved to West Ham.
At one point, Millwall did not have any goalkeepers signed up. But yo💜ungster Ryan Sandford has signed a new contract and Frank Fielding has joined on a free transfer.
Harris wants one more face through the door at the New D🥃en, though. And McLaughlin is his main target as the ꦅSouth London-based outfit prepare a bid.
Sunderland must stand firm and keep Jon McLaughlin

Sunderland must fight to hold onto McLaughlin as he was a key𝓰 part of Jack Ross’ plans last season. The Scotland international won the Sunderland Player of the Year accolade for his fin♉e performances between the sticks.
Without McLaughlin, Sunderland could struggle, especially after releasing Robbin Ruiter, Max Stryjek and Max Johnstone. Ross needs to sign at least one new goalkeeper even if McLaughlin stays so losing his number one would b🌊e a major blow.
