Report: Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign West Ham player

that Mauricio Pochettino is keen to sign on-loan West Ham United star Jesse Lingard after the England attacke꧒r took his tally to eight goals in nine games at the Hammers – but PSG face competition for his signature.

Lingard, 28, is firing on all cylinders after choosing to leave Manchester United for W📖est Ham in January – net𒆙ting another two goals on Sunday evening, during a 3-2 win over Leicester City. Lingard now has eight in nine games, laying on all four assists.

The attacking midfielder has 12 months remaining on his Manchester United contract but it is expected that he will lea꧙ve Old Trafford in the coming months. ESPN, as have many outlets, claim that the Hammers are desperate to permanently sign him.

But they are not alone. The report says some of th꧅e Premier League’s top-six clubs are interested, as are Pochettino’s PSG, Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan and even Real Madrid. It promises to be an interesting few months for Lingard.

TBR’s view – Which club is best for Lingard?

Moving to the likes of PSG, Inter or Real would of course prove tempting for Lingard. But ultimatജely, he is at his best when he is scoring goals on a regular basis and right now, he is shining at West Ham because he is getting regular game time.

So෴, he needs to join a team where he is a big fish in a small pond. At PSG, Inter or Real, he would be an average-sized fish in an enormous pond. Staying in England should be ♔a priority, and West Ham is clearly his best home.

If the Hammers qualify for✤ the top four, Lingard has got to stay.
