Report: Leeds still hopeful of £31m Charles De Ketelaere deal
Leeds United remain in the running to sign Charles De Ketelaere and hope that a higher offer and the lure of Premier League football can convince the forward to move to Elland Road, .
Leeds’ pre-season performances have been encouraging given that they have brought in so many new signings, and have lost their two most important players this summer.

But there are still a couple of areas of concern for Jesse Marsch. One is most definitely up front, with Leeds scoring three goals in their three games in Australia.
Patrick Bamford is still working his way back to full fitness after a torrid campaign. But it seems that the Whites are working on strengthening further.

Reports have claimed that they are close to agreeing a deal for Arnaud Kalimuendo. But it appears that the top target is De Ketelaere.
Unfortunately for Leeds, his preference has been to join AC Milan. However, it is the Whites who have made the higher bid for De Ketelaere.
that Milan have offered £27 million, while Leeds are ready to pay £31 million. And with that, the Rossoneri may switch their attention to Hakim Ziyech.
Leeds meanwhile, hope that the lure of Premier League football can help them now convince De Ketelaere to make what would be a club-record switch.
Leeds signing De Ketelaere could be a huge coup
Some Leeds fans may be disappointed to hear that the club remain in the hunt for De Ketelaere given his stance. Obviously, it would be much easier to take to the player should he jump at the chance to join the club.
But the youngster looks to be a special talent. So if a deal is now possible, Leeds will likely be rewarded should their persistence pay off.
