Report: Juventus confident despite big Arsenal bid for Alvaro Morata
Juventus are confident that Alvaro Morata would rather join them permanently than move to Arsenal – despite the Gunners making a better offer to Atletico Madrid and the striker himself, .
Morata has become the latest striker to be heavily linked with a move to the Emirates. In fact, it would appear that Arsenal have already confirmed their interest in the Spaniard.

Mikel Arteta’s men have already made an offer for the 29-year-old. And it would appear that it is a very good bid for the forward.
Morata is currently on loan with Juve. And the Old Lady would like to keep him beyond this season. that Arsenal have made the much larger offer.

And the contract they are prepared to offer would be much more lucrative.
However, it would appear that Arsenal have it all to do to sign Morata. Calciomercato reports that Juventus remain confident that he will stay in Italy, despite not being willing to offer the £29.1 million that would trigger the obligation in his loan deal.
They believe that Morata would opt to stay in Turin if given the choice. His family are settled in the city. And he previously struggled while in London with Chelsea.
Arsenal fans may not mind seeing Morata stay at Juventus
Mikel Arteta may view it as a blow if Arsenal miss out on Morata. He has enjoyed success with a host of European heavyweights. It says a lot that Real Madrid, Atletico, Chelsea and Juventus have all seen something in him.
But he is not hugely prolific. His best return in a single league campaign is 15. He has not scored more than 12 in a league season since joining Chelsea in 2017.
Antonio Conte once described Morata as a ‘fantastic‘ player. But surely, Arsenal can be confident that they can find a better option if he is not convinced about a move.
