Report: Four Championship clubs in race to sign Liverpool star on loan
that fouဣr Championship clubs are looking to raid Liverpool before Friday’s deadline and sign centre-back Nathaniel Phillips on loan – including league leaders Bristol City and Nottingham Forest.
Phillips, 23, made his Liverpool debut last season as he returned from a Stuttgart loan spell to play in the FA Cup win over Everton𓃲 – in which Cuꩵrtis Jones curled a 25-yard effort into the top corner past Jordan Pickford.
The Reds came after Phillips 🐻initially joined Stuttgart on lo𒆙an for the first half of the season, and then he returned to Stuttgart for the second half of the campaign. He played 22 games for the German side as they gained promotion to the Bundesliga.
N𝄹ow, he has returned to Liverpool but seemingly has no chance of breaking into the first team. The report claims Forest, Bristol City, Reading and Swansea are keen. A loan is expected, while a permanent move is not out of the question.

TBR’s view – The Championship is ideal for Phillips
He has gone to Germany and proved himself, just as he did against Everton in the FA Cup✅. Though Phillips is hardly a player that will get the odd game at Anfield, he is certainly capable of becoming a steady Premier League defender in the future.
He needs game time. Moving to a Championship side is perfect, especially under a manager like Chris Hughton at Forest. Any of the four cl🍨ubs would be ideal for Phillips, if they can move for Phillip💃s before Friday’s 5pm deadline.
He has entered ✃the final 12 months of his con🍸tract.
