Report: Carlo Ancelotti ‘impressed’ by 17-year-old Everton midfielder
Everton prospect Isaac Price has reportedly caught the eye of manager Carlo Ancelotti in a positive way since he st𝓀epped uꦰp into the first-team fold.
, the 17-year-old has “impressed” senior Toffees manager Ancelotti when training wit♐h the main group.
He’s yet to mꦅake his first-team debut for the Merseyside club, but he was named on the bench for Monday’s Premier Leagueౠ fixture against Brighton.
The report eౠxplains he wouldn’t have been part of the senior match day squad if Ancelotti didn’t have faith in him, albeit injuries opened up positions on the bench.
It is add﷽ed that Everton coach Leighton Baines has helped him make the step up through the various academy age grou﷽ps.
Price was playing in the Under-18s side at the beginning of this season, but has been with the Under-23s group 💧since the turn of the year.
The teenage central midf𝓡ielder is now starting regularly for the Under-23s, and it’s seen him around the outskirts 𒁏of the first-team squad.

TBR’s View:
If Price is good enough, Ancelotti is the kind♏ of manager that would be prepared to play him.
The midfield talen🐲t is going to learn so much being around the senior group in tra🌸ining, and right now he’ll be like a sponge absorbing tips from household names like James Rodriguez and Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
He’ꦫs been at Goodison Park since he joined Everton aged 17, sigಌning his first professional deal last September.
