Brighton admirers of Postecoglou
Celtic fans will hardly be surprised to see Postecoglou’s name in the frame when it comes to Premier League jobs. He has been an inspired appointment for the Bhoys.
He led Celtic back to the Scottish Premiership title last season, and with that, a Champions League return. And of course, the Hoops more than held their own for much of their tie against Real Madrid this week.
Reports have previously suggested that the Manchester City hierarchy have been impressed with Postecoglou. So obviously, a club such as Brighton will consider his name.
Brendan Rodgers’ departure for Leicester may leave some Celtic fans feeling a little nervy about Postecoglou – who Rodgers once labelled ‘‘.
But it does seem that the Hoops boss feels that he has a lot more to do before moving on from Parkhead.
