Report: Blackburn and Millwall join Middlesbrough in race for Everton winger Bolasie

ꦉ on their Transfer Centre (Friday, 13.57pm) that Blackburn Rovers and Millwall have joined Neil Warnock’s Middlesbrough in the race to sign Everton outcast Yannick Bolasie before the 5pm deadline.

✤Bolasie, 31, is expected to leave Everton in the next three hours. He has returned to Goodison Park from a loan spell at Sporting Lisbon, and is considered surplus to requirements by Carlo Ancelotti – with the options out wide aplenty.

💎Earlier on deadline day, Middlesbrough entered talks to sign £75,000-a-week () winger Bolasie – who joined Everton in the summer of 2016 from Crystal Palace for a fee of £30million. However, Boro are not the only side.

✨Blackburn and Millwall are now interested in landing Bolasie, who has entered the final 12 months of his contract. Blackburn have already completed deadline-day deals for Barry Douglas from Leeds, and Tom Trybull from Norwich.

TBR’s view – Bolasie needs to leave and reignite career

ౠOr he is in danger of falling by the wayside. Bolasie needs game time and he has shown in the past that he is more than effective in the Championship. A recent loan at Aston Villa saw Bolasie have a hand in seven goals during 21 outings.

𝓰All three sides will be looking to push for the top six of the Championship in the coming months, and Bolasie will be desperate to show a potential new side that he has what it takes to earn a permanent deal – when his contract expires next June.
