Report: Aston Villa want £10m-rated Millwall winger Jed Wallace

Millwall winger Jed Wallace has emerged as a J꧒anuary target for Aston Villa.

According to the print edition of The Sunday Express (1st December, page 65), Aston Villa could move for Wallace. Mi𓂃llwall are desperate to keep Wallace and will demand bids in excess of £10m for the winger.

Wallace has hit top form this season, ⛄directly contributing to 11 goals in 17 matches. This includes seven goals and four assists. In his last nine games, he has scored five goals and provided four assists.

Millw🍒all’s new boss Gary Rowett rates Wallace highly and is starting to build his team around the speedy wide-man. The 25-year-old’s recent goalscoring form has lifted Millwall into mid-table.

🐟Formerly of Wolves and Portsmouth, Wallace has just under 300 senior appearances under his belt already in his career. Aston Vill🐠a have been alerted by his form and could make their move in January.

TBR’s view

Wallace is in the fo♛🎃rm of his life and there is no reason why he couldn’t replicate this in the Premier League. But this is a more risky signing for Aston Villa, given his lack of top-flight experience.

It is clear that Dean Smith wants a new winger with mentions of Said Benrahma resurfacing recently. Vill🌄a might need to take a gamble and Wallace could be an inꩲteresting experiment.
