Report: Arsenal initiate contact with Jonathan David, Everton and Manchester United also keen
Arsenal have held ‘exploratory talks’ with exciting Gent striker, Jonathan David,
David, who is just 20, has been in blistering form this season for Gent. He’s rattled in an impressive 18 league goals for the Belgian side, while he’s also added a further five in the Europa League.
However, he is widely expected to be the subject of a transfer tug of war this summer. The likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, and Everton have all been credited with an interest, according to .
And that report claims that Arsenal and United may have already started exploring ways of landing David. Everton, along with the likes of Inter Milan and Porto, are also thought to be keen.
The Gunners could well be in the market for a new striker this summer. The futures of both Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette remain uncertain. David, then, could be the ideal capture for Mikel Arteta.
