Arsenal transfer: Gunners reportedly given green light to sign RB Leipzig star

Arsenal have been given a boost in their quest to sign Marcel Sabitzer from RB Leipzig. claims that the Gunners are the club in pole position to complete a deal for the Austrian.

The 27-year-old could now be allowed to l𝔍eave the Bundesliga outfit. Not only that, but he could be available for the relatively small fee of £14.6 million.

Sabitzer helped Austria reach the last 16 of Euro 2020. He captained the side as they were narrowly beaten aꦅfter extra-time by Italy.

At club level though, a change could be on the cards. He has just a year remaining on 🌄his current deal and Leipzig are willing to cash in.

Arsenal won’t be aꦰlone in their desire to sign Sabitzer. The central midfielder will have plenty of admirers and the Gunners might need to move quickly.

Mikel Arteta wants midfield reinforcements. Granit Xhaka could leave, whilst Dani Ceballos has returned to Real Madꦯrid following his two-year loan.

That leaves Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny as the options in midfield. Som🃏e guile will be therefore be sought by Arteta.

Sabitzer could be quality addition to Arsenal ranks

The Austria captain has been in fine form for some time in the Bundesliga. He has scored 52 goals and cꦿlaimed 42 assists from 227 appearances for Leipzig.

He would represent a smart move by Ar𒈔senal. At 27, he is getting towards the prime of his career and he’s the type of player who could thrive in the Premier League.

Sabitzer earns a🍸nd given the small transfer fee, the transfer could prove a bargain to Arsenal.
