Arsenal in battle with Wolves and Crystal Palace to sign Champions League defender

A number of Premier League clubs are looking to strengthen their squads this summer and it looks like Arsenal, Wolves and Crystal Palace are all casting admiring glances at the same player.

With all three clubs havin🌌g different objectives for the second half of the season, the January window is seen as an ideal chance to them to add new players.

For Arsenal, the idea of not making a signing after being hit with injuries and falling behind Liverpool in the title race seems hard 💞to believe.

Mikel Ar༒teta could do with reinforcements both up to🎐p, and in defence if he can.

And according to rep🦄orts from , Red Star Belgrade defender Nasser Djiga is being looked at by Arsenal, Wolves and Crystal Palace.

Arsenal in mix to sign Nasser Djiga

According to the report from Spain, whi✅ch cites Real Zaragoza’s transfer intentions, the name of Nasser Djiga has emerged on the radaꦚrs of English clubs.

The report claims that Arsenal are one of those clubs who like Djiga, w🦋hile Wolves, Palace and Brentford are all also keeping an eye.

The 22-year-old Burki💦na Faso international has been a regular for🅷 Red Star Belgrade this season and has featured in the Champions League against Man City.

Djiga only arrived in Belgrade in the summer of 2024 from Basel. 𒁃However🌳, he has impressed, leading to plenty of interest from abroad as teams look for a bargain buy.

One potential roadblock in terms of Arsena﷽l is Djiga would be unable to play Champions Lea𝔉gue football.

And with so many games to come, Mikel Arteta may well view that as a big negative point.

Arsenal need readymade players

While Nassꦕer Djiga is obviously an up and coming player with a lot of potential, Arsenal really need players who can come in right now to help them.

Djiga would be more of a squad player right now than a pla😼yer who can slot right into the first-team.

That means that a move to a Palace ��or Wolves would be more feasible,✱ leaving Arsenal to look for someone with a touch more experience or quality.
