‘Ratcliffe will see that’…Pundit shares why Ten Hag will be sacked after Manchester City performance

Manchester United were beaten comfortably by Manchester City today as the pressure ramped up on Erik ten Hag.

The Dutchman saw his side go ahead through a thunderbolt from Marcus Rashford but over time, United were ground down and Foden’s double, followed by Erling Haaland’s finish, ensured a 3-1 win.

For United and Ten Hag, it was very much the result a lot expec🌺ted going into the game. But for the United boss, it did him no favours really in terms of how new part-owner Jim Ratcliffe will see things.

And after hearing the stats from the game, former Liverpool player Jason McAteer told that these performances are what will see Ten Hag sacked🧸.

“That’s why you don’t last at the end of the season. I honestly don’t think he’ll be there at the end of the season for next season. Jim Ratcliffe will see that and it’s just not good enough for a Manchester United team. He did it at Liverpool, now he’s done it at Man City. He gets away with it against the lesser teams but a𓃲gainst the better sides he just gets found out,” McAteer .

McAteer makes a good point here about the performan🐼ce level🐎s.

The stats shared here were just three shots all day, one on target, and 𝄹only nine touches in ꧂the opposition in the box. For a club like Man United, it’s just not good enough.

🗹Quite how Ten Hag can come out and even defend the performances is beyond anyone now and it feels like the time is ticking on his period in cha💮rge of the Red Devils.

Jim Ratcliffe will be keeping a close eye on proceedings here and you have to say, he won’t 🦂be impressed by what he is seeing.

Ten Hag will be lucky to k🐻eep his job in the summer and McAteer is right he🐽re, it’s performances that will end up bringing the Dutchman down in the end.
