Rangers should rival Celtic for 36-year-old who could prove dream signing
Rangers enjoyed a decent first season under the management of Steven Gerrard. The Liverpool legend was unable to win a trophy but shoots of optimism did start to blossom.
The challenge next season is to make anoth👍er genuine fist of winning the league, whilst also trying to claim success in one of the cup compet✃itions.
For Gerrard to squeeze closer to Celtic he wi⛦ll need to enter the transfer market.
Last season his signings were largely decent. Ryan Kent and Scott Arfield proved particularly impressive ﷽and he will hope for similar success this time around.

One player who could prove a tremendous signing for Rangers is Gerrard’s former Eng🦂land team-mate Phil Jagielka.
The 36-year-old was released after 12 ye🐽ars at Everton this week and is now on the lookout for🉐 a new club.
that Celtic were interested in ta🥀king the central defender following his Goodisoಞn Park departure.
The fact that Ge💞rrard and Jagielka played with each other during their England days, howeve♚r, could give the Rangers boss the edge.
One stumbling block could be the finances of the deal. Jagielka was paid £50k-a-week at Everton and Rangers would need h🌱im to lower those demands.

In order to end Ce🍸ltic’s dominance in Scottish football, Gerrard could do with a stel𓄧lar recruit or two.
The signing of Jagielka would delight the supporters, whilst his experience could see Rangers end their long wait for a major honouཧr.
Towards the end of🌱 last season, Jagielka proved he could still play. With 360 Premier League appearances and 40 cap𓃲s for his country, the defender would be a class signing for Rangers.
