O’s goalkeeper Dean Brill made a save to keep Plymouth at bay but it looped🧔 to Rudden, who was unmarked in front of an open goal and less than six yards out. Somehow, the Scotland youth striker mistimed his jump and ended up punching the ball goalwards rather than using his head.

Brill recovere❀d to make a stop on the line from Rudden’s handball attempt but Joel Grant smashed in the rebound. This set Plymouth on the path to a crushing victory over in-form Leyton Orient.

Soon after the controversial opener, Rudden doubled Plymouth’s lead. It was the 19-year-old’s second goal since joining the Pilgrims 💫o🌸n loan from Rangers and his first in the league.

But Leyton Orient fans were less than impre📖ssed. Here are some accusing Rudden of being a cheat and some Plymouth fans jumping to his defence.
