‘Filthy’, ‘Different gravy’: Some Rangers fans blown away by ‘unreal’ player during 3-1 win

Rangers defeated Livingston 3-1 in the snow as the Light Blues extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

It ensured a winning start to the Scottish Premiership campaign for Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

The goals came from Scott Arfield, Joe Aribo and Fashion Sakala, with Nigerian international Aribo scoring a particularly good goal in the first half.

Rangers were rocked earlier this month when Steven Gerrard left to join Aston Villa. Van Bronckhorst will now be keen to stamp his own authority and early glimpses of his style were evident.

The Gers were pretty comfortable throughout the game and Bruce Anderson’s goal ultimately proved in vain.

It was the performance of Aribo that undoubtedly caught the eye of the Rangers supporters.

He is growing into a superb player for Rangers and he could yet get even better as his career progresses.

The 25-year-old has scored four goals and claimed three assists during and he’s growing with each passing performance.

He now has 21 goals in the blue of Rangers to go alongside his 18 assists for the club during his 116 first-team appearances.
