Pundit now delivers his honest verdict on Adam Idah’s Celtic debut at the weekend

Whatever anyone says about Celtic’s January transfer window, what can’t be denied is that the fans were still excited to see exactly what Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah can bring to the team.

Kuhn made his debut in Celtic’s 1-0 win over Ross County two weeks ago and looked fairly decent. He bolstered that performance with a goal and a good performance against Aberdeen at the weekend.

By and large, this tra🐠nsfer has sh🌱own early signs of promise for the Celtic fans.

However, it was Adam Idah who the fans were most excited to see and they got their wish ꧙when the Republic of Ireland international came on as a second-half substitute at Pittodrie.

Pundit and journalist, Mark Guidi, was speaking about the form of Kyogo Furuhashi when he dಞelivered his honest verdict on Idah’s Pittodrie cameo.

Guidi said [], “But I think the key factor is if Celtic go to become champions between now and the end of May, and I don’t know how you do it, this is where Brendan Rodgers earns his money.

“How do ♛you get the best out of Kyogo? That’s a key question for me if Celtic are going to become champions.

“Now is it how they finished the game on Saturday and play him but deeper and going with big Adam Idah up front who, by the way, looked more t🥃han decent when he came on.”

Mark Guidi tells Celtic to fix Kyogo problem or risk losing the league

Kyogo has struggled to find the goalscoring form that has seen him being elevated🌱 to hero statuꦉs in the eyes of the Celtic supporters.

The 29🐬-year-old is way behind in the Scottish Premiership goalscoring charts with ju♈st eight goals in 24 appearances. Lawrence Shankland of Hearts has 16 so far this season. []

And Guidi says th💞at needs to be sorted out if Celtic want🅺 to win the league.

Guidi continued, “Is there something there where the two of them [Idah and Kyogo] can go and work togethe𝓡r and build a partnership? I don’t know.

“But if Celtic are to go to become champions, he needs to find a way of playing that gets the best out of K🦋yogo because he is the best match-winner in the team.

“And if you can ge🦩t the best out of him, you might just go༒ on and win the league.”

One thing is certain, Rodgers won’t change his style to accommodate two strikers. He never done it once during his first spell at Celtic and has never shown an i𝓰nclination ⭕to do it this time.

The Celtic fans will just need to hope that R﷽odgers can find the spark that will bring Kyogo to life because Guidi is correct.

Rodgers can’t just rely on Idah. If Celtic don’t have Kyogo firing on all cylinders, they may well kiss goodbye to the title and the £60m Champions League pot of cash that goes with it.
