Many expected them to kick on after such a result but Postecoglou was left vis𒅌ibly frustrated after a lacklustre display at Fulham.

Indeed, when quizzed on his side for failing to take an opportunity to move above Villa into the top four, he sa🏅id: “It’s all overไ so we’ll just go for sixth. What am I meant to say to that?

“We’re two points behind Villa. It’s 10 games to go, there’s so much football to pl൩ay. I d🌞on’t worry about that stuff. It’s not about just falling into a place in the ladder.” as quoted by .

And former Newcastle United man Michael Bridges claims he hasn’t seen Postecoglou this angry since his days as the ꦿ♑Australia boss.

Speaking on🐼 , Bridges reacted to Postecoglou’s post-match comments.

“I think that’s why he was so angry and looked disappointed after the game,” he said. “T𒈔hat rattled him, without a shadow of a doubt.

“It’s the first time I’ve seen Ange look rattled over the past few♑ years. When he won the J League and he was at Celtic, he had a lot of big matches, they got the treble.

“It’s 🅷♌the first time I’ve seen Ange, apart from when he was at the Socceroo’s and he punched the… Was it the Japan game? I’ve not seen him as animated or upset as that.”

You can understand why Postecoglou was frustrated ♔after Saturday’s game.

Spurs would have looked a♕t the result at Villa as an opportunity to kick on and sec♏ure their place in the top four.

Postecoglou was also unhappy with one question about his team bein༺g affected by Micky van de Ven’s absence on Saturda𒀰y.

Nevertheless, Spurs have an opportunity to bounce back after the international br⛦eak wit🔯h a favourable run of games.
