Pundit claims Tottenham have a ‘secret little diamond’ who could prove everyone wrong
Although only six months into his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur, Ange Postecoglou has enjoyed an unprecedented amount of success.
As well as reshaping Tottenham’s playing staff and philosophy on the pitch, Postecoglou has dealt admirably𝔍 with the departure of Harry Kane.
It felt as if every Spurs boss was praying they wouldn’t be the one in charge whe𝔍n Kane did eventually leave, but it didn’t phase Postecoglou.
The manager decided to give a big nod of faith to h༺is current squad, choosing not to directly place the club legend.
And as we’ve seen with both Son Heung-min and Richarlison’s upturn in form, it paid dividends.
That wasn’t to say that Postecoglou wouldn’t seek additions in the future, just he wasn’t going 𒆙to panic in the present.
And with time to assess his Tottenham side, Postecoglou has decided to try and make a success story of Timo Werner.
The striker ultimately failed to t🎃ake his big chance at Chelsea, and has then struggled to rediscover his form in the Bundesliga too.

Following his debut yesterday, pundit Michael Bridges shared his thoughts on Werner’s chances at Spur﷽s.
Speaking on the , Bridges wasn’t too impressed with Werner’s first minute♌s but still backed him to prov🍎e everyone wrong.
He said: “It wasn’t the greatest of debuts for thꦯe club but it was great to see that Ange was happy to throw him in there.
“And I think his work-rate was absolutely superb so I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt and I’m not going to jump on him and say 💎he’s horrendo♏us because I still think there’s a great player with a point to prove.
“He’s got a lot of people to win over t💯he points to prove and I think he’ll turn out to be🐼 a secret little diamond for the rest of the season.”
Tottenham repo🍰rtedly have a option-to-buy included in Wern🦂er’s loan deal, something that could prove to be very tempting.
There certainly seems to be no doubt in Postecoglou’s mind that the German could be a big success at Tottenham.
And given the club may be considering a big outlay for a midfielder before January ends, a cheaper addition ꦆin the summer could💯 prove very convenient.
