Premier League: Team of the Week XXVIII feat. Everton and Liverpool stars
The weekend’s FA Cup action gave us just four Premier League games to choose from this weekend, but the fixtures in question didn’t disappoint. Everton c🐻losed in on the top-six with a convincing 3-0 win over West Bromwich Albion at Goodison Park, and on the other side of Stanley Park just a day later, Liverpool kept up the pressure on the three teams above them after coming from behind to beat Burnley 2-1.
Nearer the bottom, Oumar Niasse’s double ensured that Hull won their six-pointer against fellow strugglers Swansea 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium to ease their relegation ﷽worries, and Bournemouth eventually came out on-top against West Ham 3-2 at the Vitality Stadium; Josh King’s hat-trick enough to earn all three points despite the Cherries missing two spot-kick𒐪s.
