Premier League manager hints that £30m striker who Everton want to sign could leave

A Premier League manager has suggested that an attacker wanted by Everton could be on the move this summer.

The transfer window has been a dramatic one for the Toffees this summer, with Everton selling Amadou Onana to Aston Villa with Sean Dyche also bringi🌌ng in an impressive array of neꦅw signings in Jake O’Brien, Iliman Ndiaye and Jesper Lindstrom.

With Everton in talks to sign Arthur Melo, the Goodison Park side are showing no sign of slowing down their activity ahea🌊d of the new Premier League season, where Dyche will be hopeful of once again keeping the Merseyside club out of the relegation fight.

Speaking to the press after last night’s pre-season loss to Real Madrid, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca hinted that Armando Broja could be sold this summer after the striker was dro﷽pped from the Blues’ squad to face 🌠Los Blancos.

Everton were once in pole position to sign Broja earlier this summer as the £30m-rated forward was again linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with the Albanian international seemingly keen to depart west London this summe🔜r.

With Everton still in the📖 hunt for a striker this summer, news that Broja could be allowed to leave this month will be music to the ears of the Toffees, who might not be eager to make another attempt at bringing the 22-year-old forward to Goodison.

Maresca said when asked why Broja wasn’t named in Chelsea’s squad to face Real Madrid last night: “It was just a 🅺decision. Luckily for us, he’s not injured. In this moment, we’ll see what happens.”

Everton need to make a new attempt to sign Broja

Broja has arguably needed a move from Chelsea si♍nce returning from his productive loan spell 🐭at Southampton back in 2022, with the striker since failing to make the grade with the Blues and the Premier League in general.

Yet at 22-years-old, ther♏e’s still plenty of time for Broja to get his c🅷areer back on track, and a move to Everton could be just the ticket the youngster needs to find his form again in the English top-flight.

Indeed, Broja has shown inౠ the past that he can be a lethal finisher and striker in the Premier League, and after Maresca’s comments, Everton need to make a new attempt to sign the forward this summer.
