Premier League fans are all making the same point about Lewis Hall after Newcastle’s Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg win over Arsenal
Newcastle United have put themselves in the driving seat to reach the Carabao Cup final after running out 2-0 winners at Arsenal in their semi-final first leg.
The Magpies opened the scoring through Alexander Isak, who lifted🅠 a composed finish past David Raya in the 37th minute of the game.
Anthony Gordon then doubled Newcastle’s lead early on in t✤he second half, converting on the rebound after Raya parried Isak’s effort into his path.
Meanwhile, Arsenal spurned a multitude of good opportunities, with th♎e likes of Gabriel Martinelli, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz f﷽luffing their lines.
And while the Magpies🤪 were clinical in attack, their defence was superb once again as they secured a fifth clean sheet from seven games in all competitions.
Lewis Hall was particularly impressive on the ♊night, leading to fans of various Premier League clubs singing his praise⛄s.

Newcastle’s Lewis Hall deemed one of the Premier League’s best
Hall is no longer seen as just a great Premier League player – ✤fans are now wondering whether he may just be the best left-back in the Premier League.
A Liverpool fan wrote on X: “Strong case for Lewis Hall being the best left-back in✤ the P🐭remier League as of right now.”
Meanwhile, a Manchester United supporter said: “Lewis Hall is so like Luke Shaw and that is the best compliment I can gi♌ve the fe🐠lla.”
Chelsea fans also had their say, with 💙one writing: “Lewis Hall♔ would be Chelsea’s best left-back had they kept him.”
Another said: “Lewis Hall might be the best LB in the wor💜ld, what a player he is.”
Even Arsenal fans,☂ who saw their side defeated by Newcastle, had to admit how good Hall was.
One said: “Hall has been their best player today. What a performance”. An🍸other added: “He has been like that for the past four 🌳matches now. Brilliant LB.”

The echoed the fans’ sentiments as they gave H🌱all 𒁏a 9 out of 10 rating.
