Arsenal’s under-21s were playing in the Papa John’s Trophy last night against League Two side Stevenage Borough.

There were certainly positives to take from the match, with a number of players who have trained with Mikel Arteta’s first-team involved.

ไReuell Waltersဣ was also involved after a recent call-up from Arteta, while Premier League record breaker Ethan Nwaneri started on the bench.

However, it was the performance of Nathan Butler-Oyedeji that r🍰eally stood out, as he scored for Arsenal last night.

The centre-forward opened the scoring in th🐟e firs🍷t six minutes, but couldn’t prevent his side falling to a defeat.

Butler-Oyedeji hasn’t been as prolific in theಞ Premier League 2, scoring just once in 11 appearances.

Arsenal are still unbe⭕aten in the league, and Butler-Oyedeji’s importance🔯 to the side was highlighted by being handed the armband against Wolves in September.
