Instead, Arsenal will no♎w need t🧔o overcome the one goal deficit at the Emirates on March 12, meaning the result will also linger for a while.

The likes of Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli weren’t able to have their usual influenc🌠e, all of whom disappointed.

Although, given how good Arღsenal have been of late, there doeඣsn’t seem need to panic, fans should trust their side.

And even if Arteta probably shares that optimism amid his disappointment, it seems the 🐭team were not in the mood to discuss their di🍌splay last night.

Speaking on coverage of the game, Peter Schmeichel said that Arsenal’s media staff info💜rmed him that thei🐟r players would not be speaking after the Porto defeat.

Peter Schmeichel wasn’t able to speak to the Arsenal players after Porto loss

Schmeiche🌊l explained that Arteta did come out and speak to the press, even if that conversation was also cut short.

He said: “Very few of the Porto players speak English so we asked for Arsenal players and it was all fine until that goal went in and then th𒊎e PR people came out and said there’s nobody who wants to speak to anyone.

“But I have ꧃to say Mikel Arteta has come out and has done the rounds but he was alright.

“I was told to only ask three questions, I wanted to ask a little bit more, but he was kind of alri▨ght, he understands this is life in the Champions League away from home.”

Of course, as Schmeichel would probably agree, it would be a surprise if Arsenal 🌌were protecting their players after such a defeat to Porto.

Although it was a tou🐲gh one to take, this Arsenal squad have endured a lot worse, and the tie is still far from over.

Either way, it seems Arsenal would prefer their reaction to be on the p🍸itch a𓆉gainst Newcastle United on Saturday.

That being said, Thie♐🎐rry Henry has now been discussing the future of an Arsenal linked player.
