Paul Pogba shares honest response when asked who is better out of Tottenham and Manchester United
Paul Pogba has been speaking about Manchester United and Tottenham while streaming with IShowSpeed.
The 2018 World Cup winner was given a four-year ban from football after testing positive for doping back in September 2023, although the Frenchman will now return in March 2025 instead, after his suspension was changed to an 18-month ban.
In the meantime, the France international is keeping himself busy by spending time watching football in the stands, while also appearing in the media with stars such as IShowSpeed.
During a stream with the famous influencer on Tuesday – which was broadcast on live to millions – Paul Pogba made a comment about Tottenham and Manchester United.
Paul Pogba claims Manchester United are still better than Tottenham
One look at the Premier League table right now would suggest Spurs are in much better shape than Manchester United – who sit 13th as the north Londoners are seventh.

Despite that, Pogba believes the Red Devils are still a better side than Tottenham, after being asked the question by a viewer.
The 31-year-old said: “Tottenham? Good club, what do you want me to say? (When asked who is better right now) Listen, when you win a trophy, you know, for the past two years, United won a cup at least. When you (Spurs) do that, come back.”
Clearly, Pogba, who watched West Ham 1-1 Tottenham back in April, still has a lot of love for Manchester United, who he played for across three separate stints.

Spurs need a trophy if they are to be taken seriously
Any sensible football fan understands Tottenham are in a healthier position than Manchester United right now.
Spurs possess a clear style of play, have recruited well with a mixture of senior stars and young talents, such as Cristian Romero, Pape Sarr, Dominic Solanke, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall and Destiny Udogie, and even hammered Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford as recently as September.
However, nobody can argue with Pogba’s comment, as silverware is still the ultimate aim of the game, and what every club is actually playing for – regardless of whether a project is put in place, or more of a quick fix approach is adopted.
Until Tottenham lift a trophy, people will always favour the sides who secure silverware.
