Paul Merson predicts Nottingham Forest v Arsenal scoreline as claim made about Reds front three

Arsenal will hope to get back to winning ways when they head to high-flying Nottingham Forest on Wednesday night.

Arsenal’s Premier League tౠitle hopes are now hanging by a thread after they lost to West Ham at the weekend, while Liverpool beat Manchester City.

Likewise, Nottingham Forest will be eager to get back to winning ways in wake of thei🐠r narrow 4-3 defeat at Newcastle United on Sunday.

The Reds wౠere 4-1 down at one point before getting back to within a goal and giving the Magpies a real scare at St James’ Park.

Now, Paul Merson has predicted how both sides will fare at the City Ground as he expects one of the two teams🥃 to be “in trouble”.

Paul Merson backs Nottingham Forest to run out 1-0 winners over Arsenal

Merson is at a loss over Arsenal’s lack of edge in attack,𓆉 admitting he can’t see how they’ll even get a goal against Forest.

The pundit believes his former side will be “in trouble” because he expects ♏Forest to sco🔥re, and has predicted a 1-0 win for the hosts.

Merson also claimed that F♎orest’s current front line is ☂stronger than the forwards Mikel Arteta currently has at his disposal.

“I watched Arsenal last week and I can’t see them scoring a goal! I honestly🧸 don’t know how they are going to do it,” Merson wrote on .

“Even if Arsenal play this game with their strongest team, this is still a toug❀h ask away from home at Nottingham Forest.

“Without a proper front-three, I expect them to be in trouble because I can’t see Forest not sc꧂oring here.

“I believe Forest have a beﷺtter chance of winning against Arsena💦l than City next week.

“By the time they face City, Haaland will be back whereas Arsena🐽l have no real firepower at the moment.

“Forest’s current front-three🐲 are better than the injury-free players Arsena💝l have at their disposal now.

“I’d be shocked if the hosts lost this game to A🥃rsenal.”

𒊎Merson also expressed disbelief that Mikelꦅ Merino started up front against West Ham.
