‘One of the world’s best’ youngsters speaks out ahead of Tottenham switch

Tottenham Hotspur have been busy in the transfer market since Ange Postecoglou took the reins at N17.

Indeed, Spurs💦 were one of the few Premier League clubs that were active during the January window, with many others laying low due to FFP constraints.

𝄹Tottenham pulled off two significant coups in January, beating both Bayern Munich and Barcelona to the signings of two superb young talents.

🍨Spurs beat the Bavarians to the signing of Radu Dragusin before wrapping up the month by signing Lucas Bergvall ahead of the Blaugrana.

ꦑBergvall didn’t join Tottenham at the start of the year, staying put at Djurgarden on loan until the summer.

💙The 18-year-old will be linking up with Spurs in July and it looks as though he’ll be part of Postecoglou’s squad initially.

ꦅBergvall has now spoken to about his imminent switch to Tottenham, giving his thoughts on what lies ahead and also on leaving Djurgarden.

What has Lucas Bergvall said about impending Tottenham move?

🃏“It will be special,” Bergvall said regarding his move to England.

🌊“It feels depressing of course. I enjoy myself here, so it feels really sad to leave everyone here, but I hope to come back at some point.

𒐪“You start to realize that it is the last game here now for hopefully maybe 17 years. That is the plan. It is. I want to finish here, but then you don’t know if you will get injured or finish abroad. But yeah, that’s the plan.

♏“Djurgarden has meant an incredible amount to me and has been a big part of my life. So yes, the club has meant a lot.”
