Nottingham Forest fans react as Danilo returns to action in FA Cup win over Luton
Nottingham Forest are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup after beating Luton Town 2-0 at the City Ground on Saturday.
Ryan Yates opened the scoring for Nuno Es🐼pirito Santo’s side when he headed home from Ramon Sosa’s cross in the 40th minute.
Sosa then got on the scoresheet himself in the second🌳 half as he fired past H﷽atters goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski from close range on 68 minutes.
A great afternoon for Nottingham Forest and their supporters was made even better by Danilo’s long-awaited return t🅰o action for th🦩e Reds.
The Brazilian had been sidel♛ined since the opening day of the Premier ꦐLeague season, when he suffered a broken ankle in the game against Bournemouth.
Thꦉe City Ground was singing Danilo’s name throughout the seܫcond half as the fans waited for his return to action.
When it became clear thatꦦ the midfielder was about to be brought off the bench, Forest fans started singing his name.
Danilo duly came on in the final few minutes of the game as he repl🌄aced James Ward-Prowse as the home fans all rose to their feet.
Just as Forest fans were buzzing at the City Ground, so too were supporters on social media𝓀.

Forest fan꧒s wrote about how good it was to see Danilo back and named his return to action as one of the highlights of what was a very good day for the Reds.
