‘Not many like that’… Manager is blown away with 20-year-old on-loan Celtic player
Away from transfer talk for a minute as we turn our attentions towards young Celtic midfielder, Bosun Lawal.
The 20-year-old is currently enjoying a spell on loan at English League One side, Fleetwood Town. Signed by Scott Brownℱ initially, current boss, Charlie Adam, has shared exactly how Lawal has been doing down south and it’s fair to say the former Rangers man has been blown away by him.
🥂Adam said [], “Unfortunately, Bosun is not our player but while he is here, he is our player and what he has done since he has been here is give us a good base in terms of his size and physicality.
𝄹“How he dribbles with the ball, his touches and passes. There are not many midfielders like that in the Championship in England let alone League One. So he has got a bright future. He is at a big football club in Celtic.
﷽“We are lucky to have him here at Fleetwood and in the coming months to the end of the season we will send a better player back than when he came in here.”
Bosun Lawal has been outstanding for Fleetwood Town
🧸The youngster has been an ever-present in the League One side’s first team this season.
💞The 20-year-old has started 23 out of Fleetwood’s 25 games this season and has also scored one goal. Rated an average of 6.89 by , Lawal averages a passing accuracy of over 75% per ninety minutes.
🃏Providing an attacking threat, Lawal has an dribble success rate of over 60% and averages over 65 touches per game.

📖Defensively Lawal has been sensational. Winning over 73% of his tackles, the 20-year-old also gets the better of his opponents face-to-face by conquering over 65% of his ground duels and using his height and physicality to win over 75% of his ariel battles.
ꦉThere is little doubt that Lawal has been a success during his early stages at Fleetwood and if he continues to perform like that this season, Celtic will be getting a player returning to the club who will be ready for first-team football.
