have reported recently how Leeds are keen on Tavernier. And now with Newcastle i♔n the mix as well, it seems the Championship star is a wanted man. Chris Wilder, of course✤, will be determined to keep his player.

TBR’s View: Tavernier To Newcastle A Solid If Unspectacular Signing

It wouldn’t be the worst business this from Newcastle. They’d get a player who is only going to get better and can help right from the oওff. But crucially, if they did go down, thenꦆ Tavernier would be able to help them out of the Championship.

Newcastle will probably find January a biཧt more difficult than they imagine. Players could well be put off by the relegation battle. However, they can offer big money, and as we know, that will always have a big say in matters.

Versatile, young, and playing 🐎well in the Championship, Newcastle could do far worse than sign Marcus Tavernier.
