Newcastle make enquiry for £42m Premier League player Eddie Howe personally loves
Newcastle United have now asked for more information about a Premier League attacker who Eddie Howe wanted to sign in January.
Right now, it seems as if Newcastle are attempting to push through the sale of Yankuba Minteh before they move forward with any new signings.
Sunday’s PSR deadline is fast approaching, and Howe’s side need to raise funds to avoid a shortfall in their three-yea🍸r rolling figures.
Fortunately, Newcastle staff ar༺e confident of selling M⛦inteh for £25m, given personal terms have been ag꧟reed wit☂h an unnamed club.
And with the deal potentially in the bag, Howe and his recruitment staff ❀will be able to fully focus on players who can strengthen their squad.
Newcastle have definitely shown a willingness to recruit domesticallౠy 🔥of late.
If reports are to be believed, once a deal for Crystal Palace’s Michael Olise was off the table, Newcastle then quickly turned to 💝Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lew🌳in.
And according to sources in Italy, Newcastle 🅷are now interested in a Premier Leaꦐgue player who spent the second half of last season in the Serie A.
Newcastle submit enquiry for Southampton attacking midfielder Carlos Alcaraz
According to Ital🌃ian journalist , Newcastle have registered their interest in returning Southampton midfielder Carlos Alcaraz.
Di Natale was sharing his update from a Juventus perspective, given the Italian giants still have an option to make Alcaraz’s loan permanent for roughly £42m.

But according to the journalist, both Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle have asked for more information about the 21-year-old Arꦜgentinian.
Alcaraz was individually bril🍨liant at ti🐻mes for Southampton during the second half of their 2022/23 relegation season.
And although the maverick 🎶wasn’t able to keep the Saints up, it shouldn’t be a surprise that Newcastle are interested.
Di Natale wrote: “Newcastle and Tottenham have asked Southampton for information on Charly Alcaraz , on loan to Juve in the f🍬inal part of last season.”
Howe wanted Alcaraz in January
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Newcastle have shown interest in the young South American.
According to , Howe persona෴lly wanted to sign Alcaraz in January to boost his squad, only for the midfielder to head to Turin instead.
And if reports are to be believed and Newcastle’s interest is serious this time arouܫnd, perhaps they can negotiate๊ a much lower fee than the price agreed in Alcaraz’s Juve loan deal.
Newcastle do lack a number 10, explaining why the👍y were often linked with James Maddison before he moved to Spurs.
And altho🌼ugh his skill set is still rather unrefined, Alcaraz has shown that he can decide games on his own at the highest level.
