ꦰNewcastle fans keen to get new man in despite caretaker Graeme Jones.
⛎Steve Bruce has been sacked and Newcastle United are in the hunt for a new manager.
ꦕHowever, until a new man has been appointed it will be up to Graeme Jones to take temporary charge.
🍎The 51-year-old coach is the caretaker boss and will be in charge this weekend when Newcastle face Crystal Palace.
𒆙However, a lot of fans aren’t as keen on the idea of Jones having a long spell at the helm.
🍰This isn’t down to their feelings on Jones, it’s purely down to wanting stability.
꧃It cannot be doubted that hiring Jones whilst Bruce was in charge was a positive.
Newcastle fans keen to get new man in despite caretaker Graeme Jones

💎The ex-Luton Town manager is an astute coach and someone who should stay within the setup.
꧒However, he’s not head coach material and should be replaced as the main man as soon as possible.
That’s at least what the fans think.
♏They’ll be keen to see their new Saudi overlords make a quick decision to get a new man in.
ܫWhilst getting it right is key, getting it right quickly is so important.
꧙Every negative result gives the Geordies less time to turn things around in this relegation fight.
♏However, if results go well in the next few weeks then Jones may buy himself some more time.
📖All the fans want, though, is to have the right man in charge going forward and they’ve been quick to make that c;ear.
This is what the fans are thinking
ꦫI expect a decent permanent manager to be appointed ASAP, therefore hope Jones is only in charge for a game or two. He alongside the other coaches have to carry some of the blame for our performances.

𝓀No, he can probably do a short term job but we’ll see if the team looks more organised without Bruce’s influence. Needs an established manager who knows how to organise a team properly.

🧜No from me. We beed to get a proper structure in place with the best possible we can get for every position within that structure. Gambling on a popular coach as manager feels like a risk to me and doesn’t send the ‘belt and braces’ message we need. Nothing against Graeme mind

🅠100%. Let him have his chance. Surely he couldn’t do any worse than Bruce? Even if he’s done a good job by November I’d still go for the next manager, whether that be Fonseca or Favre

ﷺMy Dad is a Luton fan and he always said Jones is a great coach but not a good manager. I’d much rather him over Bruce but no where near if Fonseca or Favre are in reach.

♍No, sorry. Not convinced he’s a manager. Might be a good, even great coach, but don’t see him as a leading figure in the dugout
