Tottenham’s Dejan Kulusevski raves about Gareth Bale
Dejan Kulusevski is one of the best wingers in the Premier League right now, so who better ꦕto rank the greatest wide players in the history of the competition?
The Swede sat down for a segment on this week, where the broadcaster asked him to name the five best wingers the Premier League has ever seen.
There are definitely a lot of options to choose from, but Kulusevski started with a Tottenham icon – Gareth Bale. He put him in fifth position.
The 23-year-old said: “The fifth player is Gareth Bale because 𒅌h♏is body was (I’ve) never seen something like that before.
“He had ꦛan unbelievable shot, he waꦉs very fast, good with the ball, played in a lot of positions, scored a lot of goals, unbelievable left foot, unbelievable player!”
Gareth Bale is one of the most underrated players ever
When you think of Gareth Bale, you don’t really consider🙈 him to be one of the greats, do you?
The Welshman, who announced his♌ retirement in January this year, was absolutely unbelievable for Real Madrid after he joined them from Spurs back in 2013.
He scored 106 goals and provided 67 assists for the Galacticos and helped them win 18 trꦉophies, including five Champions League ti﷽tles.
Despite that, Bale was constantly criticised and often booed by fans at the Santiago Bernabeu, which is 🐟a real shame. He just didn’t get the 🍷credit he deserved in Spain.
Bale is now retired, but we’re sure he would’ve loved to play in this Tottenham s🔯ide under Ange Postecoglou.
