Neil Warnock is convinced £30m Arsenal player wants to leave after what Mikel Arteta has done
Neil Warnock is convinced Aaron Ramsdale wants to leave Arsenal after Mikel Arteta has dropped him in recent weeks.
Speaking on this morning, the legendary manager discussed Aaron Ramsdale’s current situation at Arsenal.
Ramsdale has found himself on the bench since early September after losing his place in the side to David Raya.
The 25-year-old 🔥hasn’t started in the Premier League since the 3-1 win over Manchester United and has b🎃een limited to a couple of Carabao Cup appearances.

Mikel Arteta evidently prefers Raya over the Englishman at the moment and it’s led to suggestions Ramsdale could seek a move away from the Emirates next summer.
And Neil Warnock believes Ramsꦉdale will be keen to move on i♉f his game time doesn’t improve.
Warnock convinced Ramsdale wants to leave Arsenal
Warnock spoke about Ramsdale’s situation at Arsenal this morning following the goalkeeper’s dad, Nick, speaking out about his son’s disappointing start to the s🐻eason.
“I think if you were signing someone who is so much better than him I’d understand that💎, but I don’t see him [Raya] as much better, if anyඣthing than Ramsdale,” Warnock said.
“I look at the situation and I’ve tried to be honest with players when I’ve sign🍃ed them or they’re extending their contract, and if he’s extended his contract by three years and he won goalkeeper of the season last year, I think you have to be straight up with him and say ‘I might be signing someone’. It doesn’t sound like he knew anything about Raya, and that’s the disappointment.
“Once you lose your trust, I don’t really see a way around it. I think other clubs will be looking at him now. He’s a good goalkeeper and I’m sure he’ll want to go, because he will want to get back i🌺nto the England team.”
Dean Saunders then weighed in on the conversation and said: “I think he needs to leave, Neil. Maybe Arteta should have said to hi𒊎m, I’m bringing this lad in and you need to leave this week.”
“He wa♏nts the cake and [to] eat it,” Warnock resp🌠onded. “He wants both keepers there because if he gets an injury he knows the other one is good but he is not rotating like he said he was going to do and you know as a manager you can’t do that.
“I’m sure it’ll work out in the e♊🤡nd. Either he’ll get a club or he’ll get back in the team.”

Ramsdale was a key man under Arteta last sea🌱son and h🍷elped them back into the Champions League after a lengthy absence from the competition.
While the ꦰgoalkeeper has every right to feel hard done🍎 by after losing his place in the side, the noise around the situation seems slightly over the top.
Arteta treated Be♒rnd Leno in the same way after signing Ramsdale as the formeꦦr Bournemouth man took the German’s place in the side.
It’s still early days in terms of Raya’s A♎rsenal career and Ramsdale will have to wait patiently for hisജ opportunity once again.
