Mo Salah has suggested Liverpool should sign £50m player

Liverpool are in the market for a new attacking player.

𒁃The Reds already have a stacked roster of attacking talent, but they’re still on the lookout for potential new additions.

Christian Pulisic has been linked with Liverpool recently, while Omar Marmoush is also a Liverpool target.

Marmoush💝 has been on fire in the Bundesliga this season, and speaking on the FC Bayern Insider Podcast, Christian Falk has shared some insight into this potential move.

Falk says that Liverpool are very keen on Marmoush and Mohamed Salah🔯 ahs made a strong case to the club that they should sign the attacker.

Liverpool very keen on Omar Marmoush

😼Falk shared what he knows about Marmoush and Liverpool.

𒁏The journalist says that Liverpool are keen on Marmoush, and Salah has made a case for the Reds signing the attacker.

﷽“I’m already coming to the last rumor of the day. And that is Bayern will not bid against Liverpool for Omar Marmoush. True or not true?” Falk was asked.

ღ“That’s true. Bayern have him on their list. They actually had him in their sights a little more for 2026, but the price could go up to €60m (£50m),” Falk said.

💞“But Bayern don’t want to spend that much money on this player profile. They need a real striker upfront for Marmoush. They would have to change the system of play a bit, but he would fit in elsewhere at Liverpool FC.

ꦕ“For example, Mo Salah has made a strong case for him. So Marmoush and Liverpool are hot. Bayern are a bit cold at the moment.”

𒐪It’s not hard to understand why Liverpool are so keen on Marmoush.

💧The Egyptian has been absolutely brilliant in the Bundesliga this season, and the stats reflect just how effective he has been in the attack.

🧸It is interesting to hear Salah trying to recommend a signing at Liverpool though.

🌜Salah is into the final year of his Reds contract, and it would be strange for the winger to suggest a signing for a club he didn’t see a long-term future with.

𝐆Interestingly, this isn’t the first time Salah has suggested a signing for Liverpool.

Back in 2023, Salah told Liverpool to sign Ibrahim Adel, another young Egyptian star.

𒁃Liverpool never followed through with that suggestion to sign Adel, and he’s currently still playing in the Egyptian Premier League, so perhaps Salah’s talent identification abilities aren’t as good as his footballing abilities.

🦋Marmoush looks like the real deal though, and it will be interesting to see if Liverpool do make a move for the Frankfurt ace.
