Millwall fans react as striker Troy Parrott is recalled from loan by Tottenham
Tottenham recalled Troy Parrott from his loan on Monday from Championship club Millwall – and some of their fans on Twitter were d✃isappointed in their reaction.
Pa🌺rrott joined Millwall on a season-long loa𓃲n last summer, but he failed to score in any of his 14 first-team appearances for them.
Spurs decided on de♛adline day to recall the 18-year-old striker, who was immediately loaned straight back out to League One club Ipswich Town.
The Irish t🐎eenager struggled to make an impact in the second-tier, which is why he’s dropped down a further division to try help his development.
He’s been a goal machine at youth level for Spurs and has made four senior appearances for them, but is now trying to make the same kin🍌d of impact at first-team level.

A selection of Millwall💝 supporters on social media feel that they didn’t ✅make the most of having Parrott on loan.
The highly-rated striker was used out of posꩵition at times in a wide role and it may not have helped that he’s been playing for a si🥃de that have scored just 22 goals in 26 league games.
His move to Ipswich may give🔴 him the chance to play more regularly and aged 18 he should view the last six months as a learning curve.
Here are some Millwall fans discussing Parrott:
Everyone saying he isn't ready for the Championship, of course he was but if you're a striker who likes to score goals then you d🔯on't play for a negative manager like Gary Rowett

Wish him all the best didn't work𝄹 out here. Needs to find a more attacking club where he ain't coming back to m𝓡idfield to get the ball

For whatever reason, it may not have worked out the way we wanted to, but don't think it was solely downไ to Parrott.
There is talent there and he has a lot of potential, but the severe lack o▨f service and not playing to his strengths made this a challenging move.

I think he will come good but we just couldn't give him time to learn with👍 so many ๊players performing below parr. His wages might help land a permanent signing.

Tbf i thought he was alright. People would think I’m 💯crazy but I really thought he was alright. Put him in the positions Zohore got in Sᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚaturday, and he would of probably scored them.

Good luck to him, simply didn’t work out for a number of ꦑdifferent reasons. A drop to league 1 will suit he’s developmen🐼t.
