And speaking about him before the game last night, the Micah Richards believes the Tottenham man has shown just why he’s ahead of Arsenal’s Gabriel👍 Jesus in the pecking order.

“He’s underrated isn’t he. If you look at how Everton set up going through a relegation battle, a lot of times he receives the ball he’s deep,” Richards said on the last night.

“When you look at the way Spurs play, Harry Kane plays the nine role, and then Son plays off Kane. I think we are seeing someone who can play the number nine role♌ and he has been given a chance. The big talk was about Gabrie♌l Jesus and Richarlison and we were like Jesus has to play, but he’s showing us why he’s the number nine.”

TBR’s View: Richarlison shows his worth at the World Cup

There have been players at this World🌌 Cup who have shown themselves for what theღy really are and Richarlison is one of them.

He might not always start for Tottenham righ𒁏t now. He has an uphill battle in that sense with Harry Kane in front of him.

However, what will please Antonio Conte is that Richarlison has shown him just how good he is. He’s brought goals and energy to a Brazil side who should have gone further than they did. So while Brazil and Richarlison wi🙈ll be gutted, Spurs fans can be excited about his return to the club.
