The Englishman summed up the Magpies’ unbridled desire to make history on Sunday by winning headers galore, crunching into challenge🌠s and making himself a nuisance in both boxes.

On the day, Newcastle needed performances from the ages to overcome a world-class Liverpool sideꦜ and the £13 million () man certainly embraced the sizabl♔e task at hand.

Reviewing Newcastle’s triumph against Liverpool, Micah Richards🦂 claimed Burn’s display is one of the best he has ever seen from a centre-back.

Richards said on The Rest Is Football podcast: “We’ll start with big Danౠ Burn. The fact that last season, he played a lot at full-back and then obviously, they’ve had injuries to [Sven] Botman and then he moves across into centre-back. That’s one of the best performances I’ve ever seen. And people will say y൲ou’re getting overexcited.”

“I’m really not because a ♔lot of people said he’s not good enough for Newcastle, he’s one that they should get rid of but to have that mentality to go into that game against Liverpool but just he won absolutely everything! H⭕e was on the front foot, he knew when to drop off and his goal was just remarkable.”

Whether one agrees with Micah Richards’ bold claim or not, where one cannot disagrꦑee with the pundit is that Burn was spectacula🃏r against Liverpool and the numbers prove that to be the case.

Winning seven out of nine duels, not being dribbled past at all, making 11 clearances, winning seven out of nine duels and scoring the opener, the former Brighton centre-back was truly outs🔯tanding.
