Max Dowman’s latest skills in Arsenal training prove why Mikel Arteta rates him so highly as new footage emerges

Max Dowman has travelled with Arsenal’s first team to Asia for their pre-season tour.

Dowman is one of the diamonds in Arsenal’s academy and looks to be the latest attacker coming off the conveyor belt of talent in North London.

The 15-year-old will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of Bukayo Saka and Ethan Nwaneri in cementing his spot at the Emirates Stadium.

The youngster has been quick to impress during the North London club’s latest session in Singapore and show why he is so highly rated.

Max Dowman looks so sharp on the ball in Arsenal training

Max Dowman has been impressing in training on tour in Singapore with the Gunners’ first team ahead of their clash with AC Milan.

The youngster could have his chance to make his debut for the North London club when Arsenal face AC Milan on Wednesday afternoon.

During the latest footage from training, the attacking midfielder looked so confident and sharp on the ball, despite his young age.

Arteta called Dowman up for Arsenal training with the first team, with the 15-year-old without doubt one of the club’s best young talents.

Back in May, Arteta predicted Dowman was next up at Arsenal, claiming: “We have Max coming up as well, as you know, very soon as well.”

Declan Rice has been impressed by Dowman during pre-season training as the hype around the teenager continues to grow.

There has been further praise for the youngster, with Nwaneri calling Dowman Arsenal academy’s best talent.

Already, there is a big pressure being placed on the shoulders of the youngster, but his confidence looks to be very impressive, even at this early stage of his career.

Marli Salmon will also be looking to impress Mikel Arteta

Another 15-year-old talent, Marli Salmon, will also be looking to take his chance during training with the first team.

Salmon has also travelled on tour with Arsenal, and he could be the next defensive talent to emerge in North London.

Saliba is a player Salmon idolises, and the defender believes he has several attributes which are similar to the Frenchman.

Speaking to , he claimed: “I look up to William Saliba, he’s a good player. There are a lot of attributes that match up with me, so I look up to him.”

Like with Dowman, Salmon will also be hoping for minutes against Milan and a chance to show Arteta what he can do.
