That meant that Leno came in for what has become a rare appearance for Arsenal. His previous Premier League appearance came back in August when the Gunners we♓re languishing towards the bottom of the tab🐼le.

Ultimatel🦂y, it proved to be a successful afternoon for the German. Villa were unable to give him too much to do. But when he did finally face a shot on target in the final moments of the game, Leno was able to parry the ball to safety and ensure A▨rsenal got the win.

After the full-time whistle, many of the Arsenal players were quick to ꦰembrace Leno. And they were joined afterwards by Ramsdale, who was clearly delighted for his teammateꦯ.

Obviously, there is an element of rivalry between the pair. But it was apparent just how much Leno’s clean sheet also meant to Ramsdale. And Keown was full of praise for the Engl𒈔ishman following that moment.

“We just saw a clip there with two goalkeepꦑers. He (Leno) doesn’t play, doesn’t get a chance,ꦕ but he just concentrates, right at the end, makes a really good save,” .

“I liked to see that bond, of course, he wants to play, Leno, but he doesn’t get a chance, the way that Ramsdale gꦜoes and shares with him♋.”
