Manchester United want to sign Fulham player who was faster than Kylian Mbappe at the World Cup

Manchester United are eyeing a surprise move for a Fulham player in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have still not decided whether they are going to keep Erik ten Hag as their♉ manager or sack him and brin𒅌g in a new boss.

That decision is expected to be made very soon, but irrespective of what happens, Manchester United need reinforcements🌞 in multiple areas of their pitch.

Lef✅t-back has to be one of the priorities for th𝄹e next United boss.

Manchester United eye move for Fulham’s Antonee Robinson and two other left-backs

Man🎃chester United really struggled with injuries༺ in the 2023/24 season.

Ten Hag came under immense crit꧟icism for his sid꧃e’s performances, but he does deserve a bit of sympathy because he missed many of his key players for large parts of the campaign.

Left-back was a key issue last term.

Luke Shaw didn’t even play 1000 minutes of football in the Premier League, while 𒁏Tyrell Malacia missed the ent🥂ire campaign due to an injury.

That forced Ten Hag to use Aaron Wan-Bissaka in an unnatural left-🃏back position on many occasions, which was far from ideal.

Manchester United are now planning to sign a new left-back𝓀 this summer, and they have three Premier League defenders on their shortlist.

Bournemouth’s Milos Ker๊kez, ♉who has been linked with a move to Chelsea, is one of them, while Wolves star Rayan Ait-Nouri is also said to be of interest to Ma𒀰nchester United.

The other player on their list is Fulham star Antonee Robinson, who was ⭕arguably their best player in the Premier League in the 2023/24 season𒉰.

The USMNT international missed just 𝔍one game in the league last season. He picked up six assists in 37 games and really impressed with his overlapping runs.

Robinson signed a new contract at Fulham ♔in July 2023 and he has been tied down until the summer of 2028.

Tha🤪t puts the Cottagers in a strong position in potential transfer negotiations, but if Ma🌟nchester United really want him, they should be able to get him.

Robinson outpaced Kylian Mbappe in 2022 World Cup

One of Robinson’s most impressive tr🐠aits is his speed.

The 26-year-old is absolutely rapid, and when he’s in full flow, it is very difficult to stop him. That’s ꧙probably why Manchester United are interested 🀅in signing him.

Back in 2022, during the World Cup in Qatar, Robinson impressed everyone wit🐎h his blistering pace.

He was the fourth fastest player in the group stage with a top speed of 21.99 mph, which was higher than what Kylian Mbappe managed then ().

Robinson and someone like Alejandro Garnac🦩ho on Manchester United’s left flank could cause opponents all sorts of problems next season.
