Manchester United fans have a lot to say about Archie Gray after losing to Tottenham in Carabao Cup

Manchester United are out of the Carabao Cup after losing 4-3 to Tottenham Hotspur in Thursday’s quarter-final in North London.

The Red Devils were dismal in the first hour of the game as Spurs built up♎ a seemingly insurmountable 3-0 lead via Dominic Solanke’s brace either side of Dejan Kulusevski’s goa💛l.

To their credit – and also due to a shaky display by Fraser Forster – Manchester United got 💃back to within a goal of Spurs thanks to goals from Joshua Zirkzee a🍃nd Amad Diallo.

However, Son Heung-min’s late goal direct from a corner gave Tottenham a cushion that made Jonny Evans’ injury-time header little more♛ than a consolation.

Man United fans noted how Archie Gray, an 18-year-old midfielder, was pꦯlaying at centre-back for Spurs, and doing a pretty good job against the Red Devils too.
