Manchester United are now ‘close’ to agreeing a fee to sign ‘remarkable’ Arsenal talent

Neither Manchester United nor Arsenal have signed a player yet in the winter transfer window.

The Gunners are desperately looking for a new striker, while 🦋Manchester United’s priority has been to sign Patrick Dorgu to strengthen their left-wing-back position.

𓆏Work is going on at both clubs to reinforce those areas of the pitch, and fans are hoping there will be movement before the window shuts in six days time.

While all eyes are on senior players, United are in talks to sign a hugely talented youngster from Arsenal.

The latest on Manchester United’s pursuit of Arsenal defender Ayden Heaven

🅺Ayden Heaven’s future at Arsenal has been up in the air for a while now.

🐻The 18-year-old is one of the most talented young players in the Gunners academy. He went on the club’s pre-season tour of the United States last summer and even made his senior debut in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.

🐬Heaven has shown a lot of promise at Arsenal, but his time in North London could soon come to an end.

TBR Football exclusively revealed in December that Arsenal are in danger of losing Heaven. We confirmed Manchester United’s interest then.

Fabrizio Romano claimed recently that ꦓHeaven was at Old Trafford to watch Manchester United play Rangers in the Europa League.

꧑Now, The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell has revealed that the two clubs are closing in an agreement over a fee ahead of a transfer.

What happened when Heaven played against Manchester United?

💝Heaven is a popular name for those who follow academy football. He has made a fantastic name for himself while playing for Arsenal’s youth sides.

However, the teenager impressed with the seniors as well, when he played against Manchester United in a pre-season game in the United States.

🦹Heaven actually made a mistake early on that led to United taking the lead. However, he performed brilliantly from that point and helped the Gunners win the game 2-1.

Mikel Arteta🅘 was impressed with the way Heaven reacted, so much so that he hailed his performance as ‘remarkable’ after the game in July last year.

💃“Very impressive, Arteta told . “At 17, I don’t know how many players are able to do that on a stage like this.

𒀰“He’s lost a duel against one of the strongest and fastest players in the world (Rasmus Hojlund), it can happen, but the reaction afterwards, the composure, the quality, the body language that he had were all remarkable. I’m really happy with him.”
