Manchester City round-up: Hart could move to rivals; late move for Rudiger; Court to hear Garre case

Fresh reports on the future of Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart have suggested that the Englishman could make a stunning move to rivals Manchester United.  It is already clear that England’s no.1 is unwanted at the Etihad and the  hav🎶e claimed that Pep Guardiola would allow the shot-stopper to leave for Old🉐 Trafford.

Interest from United depends on the future of their own ‘keeper David De Gea, who continues to be courted by Real Madrid. The  have previously💝 reported that Jose Mourinho is interested in Hart, and may make an offer if the ꩵSpaniard joins the European champions.

Such a move would come as a blow to Newcastle United, who have also shown an interest in the 30-year-old, as announced by the

If City insist on their £25m evaluation🍬 of the Hart, who also earns £125,000-a-week, they may find that a switch to a key competitor is the only solution for getting him off the books. Should he move across Manchester, there will be increased pressure on new goalkeeper Ederson to perform much better than Clau🗹dio Bravo did last season.

In other transfer news, the have reported that the Citizens are aiming to hijack Chelsea’s move for German defender Antonio Rudiger. It was beliﷺeved that the 24-year-old’s move from Ro𝐆ma to Stamford bridge was all but complete, yet City are keen to not miss out, as they appear to have done with Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Guardiola had been interested in the midfielder who now looks certain to sign for Chelsea, and is prepared to make a concrete bid for Rudiger in hope that the Premie⛎r League champions don’t land another one of his targets.

Chelsea are strengthening a side which won the league with ease last season, knowing that they will require mor꧒e rotation options ahead of their European return. City, meanwhile, appeared to have a lot of catching up to do, particularly in defensive areas. So far they have been successful in capturing Ederson and Bernardo Silva but arguably require a player of Rudiger’s defensive ability much more than the London outfit.

In that respect, the prospect of playing more regularly at the Etihad may appeal to the German and is likely to be a factor should City🌟 scupper Chelsea’s plans.

Finally, City’s signing of 16-year-old Benjamin Garre last summer will be heard by the Court of Arbitration for Sport on Monday, as stated by .

The youngster joined City in July last year shortly after his 16th birthday but his old club, Velez Sa🔯rsfield, claim the move breached FIFA rules. At the time, the world’s football governing body ruled in favour of the English club, who argued Garre w♚as free to move because of his dual Italian/Argentine nationality.

In recent years Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid have all suffered t🙈ransfer bans over similar moves regardin🅺g the transfer of minors; with rules stipulating that under-18s cannot be brought in from outside the EU.

It may be serval weeks before the court comes to a decision in the case, but it is certꦑainly something for City fans to keep an eye on. If they are to be found guilty of breaching rules then a hefty punishment could follow.
