Manager says Newcastle-linked 6ft 4in prodigy is ‘exceptional’, worth at least £10m
A player recently linked with Newcastle United has previously been described as “exceptional” by his ♈manager, who believes he is “absolutely” worth at least £10million.
According to , the M༺agpies have three p♈romising EFL youngsters on the radar, one of which is Ipswich Town defender Luke Woolfenden.
The 21-year-old, who has been linked with , 🥂, has made 36 appearances for the Blues this season, including 31 in League One.
Wool🗹fenden came through the ranks at Portman Road and has made his breakthrough this season after loan stints at Bromley and Swindon Town.

Ipswich boss Paul Lambert admitted that the 6ft 4in centre-back ꦚlooked way off the pace ahead of the start of the season but has come a very long way since.
“If you saw him in Germany (in pre-season), I thought he was a country mile off, the way he was performing,🧸” Lambert told in January.
“I had to give him a talking, to say he was going to have to go step it uℱp. To be fair to the guy, he’s been exceptional (since).”
When asked by the whether Woolfenden was worth £10million, the Ipswich boss replied:💫 “The way the modern game is? Absolutely, absolutely. Potentially𒈔 what he could be, 100 per cent he is.”
